EM Microelectronic joins AIM Global as RFID IC manufacturer with innovative solutions

MARIN, Switzerland, August 18, 2002 - EM Microelectronic announced today that it joined AIM, the Association for Automatic Identification and Data Capture Technologies (www.aimglobal.org). EM Microelectronic is a world leader in Radio Frequency Identification having sold more than 600 Million RFID chips to date. AIM customers will now have direct access to the latest information about the new EM integrated circuits for anti collision tag.
"AIM Global is delighted to welcome EM Microelectronic as a new member. EM is already well known as a world leader in the design and development of RFID Integrated Circuits, and the company is now set to launch a new range of RFID solutions together with its network of partners.
